The Invicta Pro Diver Quartz Black Dial Two-Tone is the battery-powered version of Invicta’s flagship diver. It is designed for those who want the high-end "Submariner" aesthetic with the reliability and "grab-and-go" convenience of a quartz movement.
While there are several variations, the most common model in this configuration is the Invicta 26973.

Design Highlights
- The Dial: A deep black "sunray" dial with luminous gold-tone hands and dot markers. It features a magnified date window (cyclops lens) at the 3 o'clock position.
- The Bezel: A unidirectional rotating bezel with a black aluminum ring and gold-tone coin-edge detailing.
- The Lume: Uses Invicta's "Tritnite" luminous material, which glows green in low-light conditions after being exposed to light.
Key Differences from the Automatic Version
- Maintenance: The Quartz version will keep time accurately for years on a single battery (SR626SW), whereas the Automatic version (8927OB) will stop if not worn for ~40 hours.
- Case Back: This model has a solid stainless-steel case back, unlike the exhibition (clear) back found on the automatic models.
- Thickness: At 12.5mm, it sits slightly lower on the wrist than the 14mm automatic version, making it easier to fit under a shirt cuff.
Comparison to Larger Models
If you see a version that looks identical but feels larger, you may be looking at the Model 35131, which has a 43mm case and 100m water resistance. The 26973 is the "classic" size that fits most wrists comfortably.
